The building improvements continue at Muktitham. For the comfort of satsang attendees, workshop participants, and visitors, the KYI Board approved the installation of a mini-split system by local contractor RS Reinford LLC.
What is a mini-split system? It is an energy-efficient, ductless, HVAC system that heats in the winter and cools in the summer. We don’t intend to fully heat or fully cool the building, we just want to make visitors comfortable when they are there.
Perviously, the building used expensive electric baseboard heat. It had no cooling except for noisy fans.
